At The Hungry Hiker, we want your dining experience to be seamless from the moment you start planning your visit. Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive.


What are your opening hours? We are open for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Enjoy lunch with us on Friday from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and Saturday from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. We are closed on Mondays.

How can I make a reservation? You can book online, over the phone, or in store.

Do you accept walk-ins? Yes we do, although we prefer reservations.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options? Plenty on the menu.

Can you adjust the spice level of dishes? Yes, we generally keep it mild unless requested otherwise.

Are you BYO or fully licensed? We are BYO wine only, and you’re welcome to bring any wine of your choice. Please note that beer, spirits, and other alcoholic beverages may not be brought in. As a fully licensed venue, we also offer a selection of beer, wine, and spirits available for purchase from our bar.

Do you offer takeaway or delivery? Yes we do takeaway service. Delivery is done through third parties such as UberEATS.

Is parking available nearby? Yes, plenty of free parking at the rear of the shop.

Do you cater for private events? We do not offer a full catering service, but we can provide the food for your event. Orders must be collected and served by you. This option works well for community gatherings, sports clubs, office events, birthdays, or any casual celebration where you simply need high-quality food prepared and ready to serve.

Do you accept large group bookings? Yes, we welcome large group bookings. For larger parties, we recommend selecting from our set menu options to ensure a smooth dining experience and timely service for everyone.
